I bought this just because I thought it was a good concept, and would be fun for the grandkid's to try. The first thing I encountered was the instructions were in French, I'm American. So I went on to utube to get some idea of what I was sup -posed to do. After watching several different videos I got a good idea of how to use it. The first one I tried was spices tuna, the next one was prawns, the grandkid's want some fruit sushi. I think I'll try the spicey chicken roll tonight. All & all I think it was fun to use. I do have the mat and can make it that way also, but I thought this worked just fine. It takes about 1/2 c. Sticky rice on each side of the tube, for a full sushi roll. I haven't tried making a half roll yet.
Way easier than I thought it was going to be. I was able to make 5 different rolls in less than 15 minutes for my family. It was fun and easy to do. This will be well used in my house with how much my family loves asian foods!
